Meet one of our Indiana based instructors, Ebonie Hoops. Not only is Ebonie an amazing bootcamp and yoga instructor, but she is also a professional hoop dancer! Here's what Ebonie had to say when we asked her a few question about herself.
What inspires you to teach fitness or yoga and how did you get started
I love that movement is medicine and that you can utilize it’s benefits wherever you go. I began by learning from an amazing yoga/dance instructor at Purdue University and becoming inspired to commit to a movement practice. Once I earned my Yoga Certification in Samapatti Yoga from The Yoga Room in Crown Point in 2015, I have been teaching at that studio and locations ever since.

What are your interests and passion when not teaching fitness/yoga?
I love taking photos! I am also very passionate about studying the historical and philosophical aspects of yoga.
What are your hopes for your class participants?
I hope that my class participants grow in their practice every week they come, and take what they learn with them throughout their daily lives.
What is unique or special about teaching in a workplace environment?
Teaching in a workplace environment is unique since so many people are new to yoga, I take so much pride in being able to share this life changing practice with them and see how it helps in their working life as well as personal.
