The Active Workplace is excited to have partnered with 101 South Street to offer its tenants on-site yoga and fitness classes!

 

Classes are for ALL levels.  Modifications will be provided for beginners as well as options for more advanced athletes.  Sign up for each class by clicking the "register" button on the schedule below!

 

 

Class Schedule & Events

Classes will be held outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting!

A limited number of yoga mats, blocks, and straps will be available on a first come, first serve basis!

*registration opens 1 week in advance to class time
if you can no longer attend class, please cancel your reservation to allow another student to take your spot.

Jill

Hil

Jill loves teaching yoga, and especially helping students tap into the aspects of yoga most important to them. She values how many physical elements are integrated during the practice (breath, balance, flexibility, strength) but more so yoga's power in re-establishing the mind-body connection. She has taught at various studios and universities in the Boston area, working with public classes, corporate clients, community groups, and privately. Jill likes to shape her classes around a particular posture, exploring the mechanics and anatomical focus in a variety of ways. She always teaches progressively, so that both new and advanced practitioners can explore the asanas to the extent of their own abilities.

 

 

Maija

Hil

Maija is a personal trainer and registered dietitian who grew up on Boston’s north shore. She has also completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training. Maija’s training style incorporates high intensity circuits and heavy weightlifting with a focus on mobility and movement quality. Her hobbies include glamping, houseplants, and her freshwater aquarium!
