Let The Active Workplace help you to relieve some stress and stay active at home! Our classes are designed for all fitness levels and no equipment is required. 

We record all our live classes and upload them to this page for you to access at any time, 24/7.  Enjoy!

Our instructors will be teaching according to the following schedule via ZOOM and Microsoft Teams.

 

Zoom: Click the link, click Open Zoom and follow the prompts to allow you access into the classes for that day! We have preset all microphones and cameras to be muted/ turned off upon entrance for all attendees.

Microsoft Teams: You do not need the Teams application downloaded onto your device to join. Once you click the link, join through the "Continue on this browser" option on the right side of the screen. ***Please mute your mic and turn off your camera while class is in session.*** Right click on the instructor's video and select "Pin" to enlarge the image.

                                                                 

  • Monday, 12/6:  

Bodyweight HIIT w/ Stephanie | 12:30pm - 1pm ET. |Add to calendar Join via Microsoft Teams

This class incorporates high intensity cardio sessions partnered with bodyweight strength training and core work to get the heart rate up and body feeling strong! Get ready to sweat!

Stretch & Meditation w/ Krysta-Lyn | 4:30 - 5pm ET. |Add to calendar | Join via Microsoft Teams

This class consists of 15 minutes of slow and restorative stretching followed by 15 minutes of guided meditation aimed to calm the mind and leave you feeling refreshed and energized!

Tone 'n Flex w/ Michelle | 9:00am - 9:45am ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

A full-body strength, flexibility and balance workout incorporating Pilates, yoga, barre and functional training into one dynamic and fun class. The class will incorporate multiple disciplines providing a unique class experience each week, keeping your body feeling challenged.

Optional equipment: 1-5lbs pair of weights, 6-10lbs medicine ball, kettlebell or dumbbell, resistance tube/band, pilates/bender ball or soft-sided playground ball.  Chair, bench or open wall space.

Barre w/ Chloe| 12:30 - 1pm ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

A fusion class that encompasses Pilates, strength training, postural movements and yoga. This class will tone and tighten the muscles in the entire body, targeting muscles that you don’t work and challenging your muscular endurance!

Optional Equipment: 1-5 lb hand weights, resistance band

Yoga w/ Katie| 5 - 6pm ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

Optional Equipment: yoga blocks or household alternative, towel, blanket, pillow  

  • Wednesday, 12/8:

Yoga For Tight Bodies w/ Stephanie | 9 - 9:45am ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

Experience the benefits of deep stretching!  This class will focus on unwinding tight muscles to decrease aches, pains, stiffness and muscle imbalances. All levels and bodies that need to loosen up are encouraged to join!

Optional Equipment: yoga blocks or household alternative, towel, blanket, pillow

Desk Stretches and Deep Breathing w/ Lisa |12 - 12:30pm ET.|Add to Calendar |  Join via Microsoft Teams 

Join Lisa for a total body stretch routine using your office set up! This class will focus on releasing muscle tightness and tension and improving posture! End class with some deep breathing for additional stress reduction. Recommended equipment: chair

Bootcamp w/ Katie| 3 - 4pm ET. |Add to Calendar |  Join via Microsoft Teams 

High intensity interval workout geared to work your ENTIRE body! Get ready to work up a sweat, burn lots of calories and go back to work energized! Classes are for ALL levels. Modifications will be provided for beginners as well as options for more advanced participants.

Zumba is a Latin and international music inspired aerobic workout that pairs low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style dance party!

Pop Up! Shantikan w/ Lisa | 9:30 - 10am ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

Shantikan is a dynamic blend of yoga and martial arts that strengthens and tones the whole body, while simultaneously increasing flexibility and resilience on every level. With regular practice, you will feel younger, fitter, and more at ease. You don't need any special skills, prior experience, or equipment to participate in this medium intensity, quick workout

Pilates w/ Chloe |12 - 12:45pm ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

A form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates moves tend to target the core, although the exercises work in other areas of your body as well. Expect the moves to involve slow, precise movements and breath control.

  • Friday, 12/10:

Core & Stretch w/ Bernadett |9:30 - 10am ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

This class will target the core muscles from all directions with exercises designed to improve strength, stability and posture. End with some light stretching for optimal recovery.

Yoga w/ Charlotte |12 - 12:30pm ET. |Add to Calendar  |  Join via Microsoft Teams

Personal Training

The Active Workplace trainers are now offering one-on-on virtual personal training sessions via Zoom and Microsoft teams.  Sessions are perfect for those who need a more tailored program and maybe a little extra motivation and accountability. Whether you are trying to gain muscle, lose weight, work around an injury or get in shape for a special occasion or sport, our trainers will provide a fully customized workout plan with the most effective exercises for your needs that you can do while at home with little or no equipment.  Through one-on-one sessions your trainer will be able to see your form and help to make corrections if needed to ensure that you are getting a safe and effective workout based on your needs and goals.
