Beyond helping each employee achieve their own health goals, bootcamp classes have provided an extra opportunity for bonding outside of the office. Whether we’re cheering each other on in a relay race or commiserating in seemingly endless intervals of burpees, we’re all doing it together.
Additionally, yoga has been an amazing destresser at the end of the work day. No matter how much we have going on at work, The Active Workplace’s yoga classes remind us how important it is to take time to care for ourselves.
What do you do to increase employee engagement and morale?
We like to celebrate the small stuff as well as the big stuff, always taking time to recognize each other’s hard work and efforts. This helps the team feel valued and more connected to one another. On-site fitness classes come in handy, too–helping us achieve a better work-life balance, in a way that’s super convenient.
How would you describe the company culture?
LaunchSquadders are driven, creative and social. We have an insatiable amount of energy and enthusiasm for new ideas, and that passion translates to hard work.
We also care deeply about the well-being of our team and do everything we can to cultivate a fun and rewarding environment. There are catered lunches every Monday, monthly happy hours, quarterly team events, and lots of activities and offsite sports outings sprinkled in. Not to mention, a birthday has never gone by without an office party to celebrate.
